Jazzette Band
Fill a flute with sparkling French charm, mix in a good dose of swing and then sprinkle with finely rhythmic gypsy bohemianism.
Then heat it up tango style, let it simmer to South American tunes, and to add color, add a few drops of blue java. Flavor it all with a pinch of sweet waltz and that's it!
Vérène Fay, singer and Patrick Licasale accordionist form a close and sensitive duo. Often accompanied by Arnaud Equoy on guitar and Pierre-François Maurin on double bass. These four musicians with rich and varied backgrounds come together around their common passions: jazz, French song and world music.
Jazzette Band elegantly revisits the great French standards of Charles Trenet, Edith Piaf, Claude Nougaro, Barbara, Michel Legrand, Django Reinhardt and Henri Salvador... each bringing their own personal influences: Argentinian tango, Java, blues, gypsy swing...
